The First Three Metal Gear Solid Games Are Coming To PS5 This Year

YES!

This morning saw a huge new PlayStation Showcase with over an hour of reveals, updates and gorgeous trailers.

Coming off the tail of the huge reveal of a full Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection (Vol 1) was also announced, bringing the first three games together on PS5 and potentially other platforms. It’ll contain Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Master Collection Version) and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Master Collection Version) plus potentially some other surprises.

It’s reportedly coming in Spring this year, and unlike the remake of Snake Eater these won’t be realised in any kind of new light.

The message on the official website reads:

“Currently, the development team are working together to create an environment where fans can experience and enjoy the METAL GEAR series on the latest platforms.
