Stellar Blade Will Be “Uncensored” In All Regions

Sounds Tachy.

SHIFT UP has revealed, via a post on the official account for the game on X, that Stellar Blade will be releasing globally as an identical, “uncensored” version, including in Japan.

While there’s no doubt this is an (admittedly effective) attempt to have a certain demographic ready to drop their $125 at the promise of seeing something censor-worthy, it’s more likely that this is confirmation the Japanese version of the game won’t be altered to tone down gore or language, as has been the case with some previous PlayStation titles like The Last of Us and Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Either way, there are certain to be players out there pleased with the fact they’ll be getting the same experience as everyone else when the game launches later this week.

Stellar Blade launches on April 26th exclusively for PS5. A free playable demo is available now that allows players to sample the first stage of the game, with progress carrying over to the full release. You can pre-order the game now on Amazon at a discounted price of $109 with free release day delivery.
