The First Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Trailer Has Dropped With A Full Reveal Next Week

No Russian these things.

Activision has just dropped the first proper promotional trailer (outside of Tuesday’s teaser and release date announcement) for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Focusing on iconic Modern Warfare villain, Vladimir Makarov, the trailer blends live action scenes depicting Makarov being escorted out of a jail cell to get a new tattoo (is that normal? I feel like that’s not normal) with snippets of in-game footage showing some intriguing-looking scenarios, like underwater segments and a rainy stronghold breach. There’s also a scene with the burning wreckage of what looks like an airliner, potentially connecting the events of the end of the previous game.

You can watch the new trailer below, and be sure to mark August 17th (potentially 18th in AEST) for the game’s full, Worldwide Reveal.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to launch on November 10, with more information on platforms and release editions likely coming in the August 17th reveal.

Activision has also clarified in a blog post some of the content that players will be able to carry over into Modern Warfare 3, which you can read more about here.
