If Like A Dragon: Ishin wasn’t enough for you, RGG has also announced Like A Dragon 8 which the next Yakuza game releasing in 2024 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
The game is confirmed to be an RPG and will feature Kiryu and Ichiban as the protagonists, and he now has silver hair for a reason that isn’t yet known (but will apparently play a prominent part in the story).

It seems as though the series will officially be called Like A Dragon globally now (and no longer Yakuza). This was previously the name in Japan, but it appears that this will be name going forward.
RGG Studio has also announced Like A Dragon: Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, which seems like it will bridge the gap between Like A Dragon 6 and Like A Dragon 8 following Kiryu’s story before he rejoins the franchise in 8.
