Last week, we got to spend about five hours with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. We got to try a variety of modes and were honestly surprised with just how much is packed into the game.
Couch co-op is a big part of Nintendo games and a unique selling point of the Nintendo Switch and thankfully, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle delivers on this front. Once you complete a world in the main campaign, you unlock a set of challenges for that world in co-op mode.
You and your partner will choose two characters each and then have to complete a set of challenges. These vary from defeating a certain amount of characters or needing to complete ALL of the characters on the level. Similarly to later stages in the main game, these require a lot strategy and are very difficult to get through even on normal difficulty.
